Title “Ambassador of Electronic Economy” given to Sebastian Ptak from Blue Media SA

The prize of distinction was given during the IV Congress of Electronic Economy organized by Polish Bank Association.

The awards and prizes of distinction were given within three categories: Partner of the year, Project
of the year and Journalist of the year. The main aim of the initiative is to award people, companies
and institutions engaged in building and developing electronic economy in Poland.
This year’s edition of the contest awarded the efforts that were made in 2008.
As a participant in the Forum of Banking Information Technologies within Polish Bank Association Sebastian Ptak works actively in the field of cashless transactions as well as Electronic Bill Presentments and Payment.

The prize of distinction given to Mr Ptak confirms the efficiency and effectiveness of the activities that have contributed to the development of the Polish electronic economy and the great cost savings being the consequence of eliminating paper invoices. Electronic invoices are convenient and safe documents for both the issuers and the recipients.

- Being awarded the title of Ambassador of Electronic Economy is a great honor for me as well as for Blue Media. Our current aim is to create solutions that will get to plenty of people who are said to be financially and technologically excluded. I am of the conviction that we should do our best to fight against such stereotypes – there are no excluded people, but there should be created services and products, that will encourage those groups to use electronic financial services. This is a great challenge for the whole financial sector and for IT companies, and Blue Media is going to continue to work actively for the promotion of socially useful solutions - says Sebastian Ptak.
