mBank Express Transfer rewarded by the Polish Banks Association

The Express Transfer received a distinction awarded by the Polish Banks Association during the 6th E-Economy Congress. Express Transfer offered by mBank earned recognition in the "Project of the Year 2010" category.

The Award Committee of the 6th E-Economy Congress focuses on promoting people and products stimulating the development of e-economy in Poland. Express Transfer offered by mBank is one of such services. It is an alternative to existing interbank transfers. Express Transfer makes it possible to deliver money from mBank to another bank within 15 minutes, instead of a few or a few dozen hours necessary in the case of standard transfers. Express Transfer by mBank is based on the BlueCash system developed by Blue Media S.A.

mBank is the first bank in Poland which offered its customers a possibility to transfer money outside of the standard ELIXIR sessions. The same mechanism has recently been introduced by MultiBank.

The E-Economy Congress is organised by the Polish Banks Association, the Banking Technology Forum and the Centre of Banking Law and Information. This year's edition is the 6th meeting of representatives of public and local administration and the financial and scientific world.
