Blue Media’s Top-up Platform awarded a Golden Antenna

Top-up Platform, an innovative solution of Blue Media, has been awarded a Golden Antenna Prize by the Polish magazine Swiat Komunikacji for the category SERVICE OF THE YEAR.

The seventh edition of the competition took place on the 31th
of March 2005 during the Great Golden Antenna Awards Gala in Hotel Victoria. The evening event was attended by the participants, among others representatives for the companies awarded, journalists and specially invited guests. Golden Antennas were awarded for several categories divided out into two subgroups of those for business clients and GSM operators prepared solutions.

Blue Media’s Top-up Platform enables recharging any prepaid mobile account through the Internet. It is an advanced alternative for the so-called ‘prepaid air time cards’. The transaction process is safe, easy and available round the lock seven days a week. The service has been used by more than several thousand customers until now and every day its popularity is growing. This is a result of the large number of prepaid mobile phones on the Polish market (around 14 million) combined with the more wide-spread use of the Internet
in people’s daily life. Until today the Top-up Platform has been implemented in all Polish GSM operators and several bigger banks, and soon a couple of other banks are going to launch the service
in the future.
